Zoom is a meeting platform that is very easy to use. It is a lovely way of practicing yoga from the comfort and safety of your own home. Once you’ve booked your class, workshop or meditation you will receive an email with further instructions and the relevant link to log on to Zoom.
Simply follow the steps when prompted once you click on the link and you’ll soon find yourself in my yoga room. You may want to download the Zoom App but it’s not necessary. If you’re unfamiliar with Zoom log on 15 minutes ahead of time so you can make sure everything is working and get settled before we begin.
Lay out a peaceful area in your house with a mat or blanket, perhaps a few cushions, and place the computer, tablet or phone where you can see it. (For the TUTI meditation, trial your most comfortable way of sitting before the course starts, a cushion or a chair, whichever works best for you.)
During the session everyone’s microphone will be set to ‘mute’, so you won’t be disturbed by unexpected noises. It’s helpful for me to be able to see you, but you’re welcome to turn your camera off if you prefer. When we finish the session you can switch your microphone back on yourself to say goodbye to everyone.
I shall look forward to seeing you in my yoga or meditation room!
